The foundation of Life is the Atma or the Spirit. The Atma recognises only its own higher values and does not compromise with those of human beings. In its benevolence, the Atma allows human beings to go through all they wish to experience, holding them in its bosom in non-judgmental love. These Spiritual Values are the only ones which count as they are everlasting; everything else is ephemeral and transitory.
